a way to protect food and other products from environmental,
chemicals and physical mishandling. The film structure
has barrier properties necessary to prevent permeability
of Oxygen, Carbon dioxide and Nitrogen into packaging.
The properties of entire Multilayer Structure in
terms of WVTR (Water Vapour Transfer Rate), OTR
(Oxygen Transfer Rate), tensile strength, tear strength,
seal strength etc. depend upon the constituent layer
materials and the thickness of individual layer
as well as upon the ambient conditions like temperature
and relative humidity. We as processor select the
structure depending upon the end application.

Film (Synthetic Paper) :-
Synthetic
Paper is made out of HDPE along with special additives.
This synthetic paper can be made in varied thickness
from 30 micron to 200 Micron and width upto 1000
mm. It can be an ideal choice for a variety of application
due to its toughness, moisture resistance, and durability
and tear strength. Photo finish printing can be
possible on this synthetic paper.
Properties of Synthetic Paper
Synthetic paper contains no fibers and is not
coated and is therefore ideal for those applications
where contact with water and moisture is likely.

It is tough with outstanding tear resistance,
folding strength, tensile strength and shock
resistance.

It has excellent resistance to chemicals.

It has outstanding smoothness, which ensures
high print quality and the finest finish by
coating and lamination.

It is absolutely environment friendly and fully
recyclable.

The Synthetic paper, thus produced, has all
the properties very close to that of natural
paper - it can be printed by all the known methods;
ball pen can write, computer printouts with
dot matrix as well as laser are possible. It
can be folded, creased, struck with adhesive.

The thinner variety is very ideally suited as
a packing paper for applications such as laminated
soap wrappers, twist wrap etc., while thicker
varieties have great advantage for advertisement
bills, machine catalogues, annual reports, documents
required to be preserved, calendars, tourist
maps, cards for educational equipment, book
covers, book pages etc.

One great advantage is that it can be recycled
like any plastic film.

The synthetic paper has dimensional stability,
water - proof, resistance to chemicals, smoothness,
and whiteness and can be washed for cleaning.
These properties have replaced the paper in
applications such as copy papers, second originals,
thermal papers for clean room, bar code label
and video printer, computer forms, drawing papers,
plotter papers etc.

mandate on reducing packaging material at source,
Paper match can be used to substitute paper laminated
with PE structures. In the case of labels for
HDPE containers, the labels become an integral
part of the bottle and cannot be pealed off. These
bottles can be easily recycled when compared to
using paper labels.
